Community Library

We would like to announce the new proposed #Library at #Smile Africa, which will not only be a Library but also a center of knowledge to the community were sensations of the village meetings and many others

This library will have the following

  1. Main library for all books
  2. Book store were people can buy different types of books
  3. Children's section for all kinds of books for children
  4. The Islamic books and catholic books
  5. Reading space
  6. Computers for research
  7. Washrooms

We have high hopes that this is going to be the first knowledge center for children and community members first built in #Masaka and in uganda at large were children will have there center of books and knowledge. About Us

My Story

I am an orphan, I lost my dad and it brought my education to an end at senior 6 since my mother did not have enough money to get my brothers and I to school, I decide to start teaching my brothers how to read and write and to my surprise children from the neighborhood started to join. I realized many children have not attained basic education in life and I decided the lack of funds to go school stops with me.
I started saving up some money as I worked somewhere as a cleaner, rented two rooms where children would gather and learn. Everyday numbers increased and there was a need to provide good education to these little ones hence birth of Smile Africa Children’s home and Orphanage.
